FIT, an industry-led not-for-profit that helps those at risk of unemployment learn valuable IT skills, recently selected m-hance, a leading Microsoft Dynamics Gold partner, to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM in order to streamline its processes.
As a result of m-hance's experience working with not-for-profit organisations, including Amnesty International and Concern Worldwide, and through the direct recommendation of Microsoft, FIT turned to m-hance when it decided to upgrade its dated legacy system.
Founded in 1999, FIT has expanded substantially over the years, with around 16,000 people completing its skills development programmes and over 13,000 progressing into employment. As a result of this growth, FIT needed a solution that would not only help it better manage and support its processes, but would also provide a system that could be accessed anytime.
FIT's previous system meant that reconciling information was very difficult; nothing was automated and the process was very manual and time-consuming. In order to centralise data and make it easily accessible m-hance recommended Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 Online.
To date, m-hance has helped over 140 customers by implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Deploying the software at FIT has allowed the not-for-profit to better manage its student information and the ability to report on student progress, skillset and job and internship placements. After signing the deal just after Christmas 2014, the software went live in March 2015.
George Ryan, Chief Operations Officer at FIT, says: "We chose to work with the team at m-hance because they are well-established and have an excellent track record – not to mention that they have a keen interest in deploying dynamic solutions in the not-for-profit sector. We were absolutely delighted with the results. After speaking to our internal staff, they quickly understood our business, its goals and our requirements. "Ryan also adds: "The expertise that m-hance displayed made us feel confident that our money was being well spent. As we expand further, we hope to add new functions, and will certainly be using m-hance for this second phase. Malou Sanchez has to be mentioned for her quality implementation and ability to work to a plan quickly and in a way that was easy for us to understand."
Darrell Brislane, m-hance's Business Development Manager in Ireland, goes on to say: "Working with FIT on the recent system upgrade was a delight, we are thrilled that they are already seeing the added value from their recent installation and that we were able to help them streamline their processes and get the most out of their investment. We look forward to working with them on the second phase of the project, and for years to come."
