Penrillian, the UK mobile software developer, has announce its latest partnership with Scantech Group, the print and communications solutions provider. As a technology based company, Penrillian is regularly involved in large multi-stakeholder projects providing innovative solutions for their customers.

Ian Hetherington, Head of Sales and Marketing, says "Working in partnership with technology providers enables us to offer a one-stop-shop to our clients. Working together with Scantech means we can offer a larger portion of the solution to our clients, get the most out of the infrastructure we are working with and reduce the number of stakeholders required to deliver a project. This allows us to be more productive and also improve cost effectiveness".

Scantech has a wide portfolio of solutions across the spectrum of print and technology, ranging from large format to variable digital print and a unique ultra-thin tag for NFC (Near Field Communication) integration. "We're seeing a huge surge in adoption of NFC", says Craig Stephens, Sales Director at Scantech. "It's taking the market by storm when it comes to contactless payment and loyalty schemes but it is also a perfect solution for the mobile workforce, for facilities management and many other areas. It's such a versatile technology – and all the user needs is a smartphone."

"As the mobile phone is becoming a hub for our everyday lives, a connected world is ever more important", Ian Hetherington continues, "and our mobiles are at the centre of it all. Everything from cars and PC's to home hi-fi systems and even kitchen appliances are using data to personalise user experiences. NFC and mobile technology will allow everything we interact with to help us live a more personalised and efficient lifestyle."
