Kyocera Document Solutions UK has launched a SIMS Connector to ensure schools maximise their use of existing SIMS solutions. A SIMS Accredited Technical Partner, Kyocera developed its SIMS Connector in conjunction with Nsi Autostore to ensure the simple, fast and secure storage of documents and information in schools.

The Autostore element within SIMS Connector can scan a document directly to SIMS.net from the Multifunctional Device, ensuring a copy is always held and retrievable. The SIMS Connector has a simple licence model, charged by device and can be considerably cheaper than other SIMS products, largely because there is no additional hardware required. The embedded connector allows the seamless integration of Autostore with SIMS.net and provides significant cost savings, improved security and increased compliance.

Anup Rai, Product Marketing Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions UK Ltd said: "Our SIMS Connector does much more than just connect to SIMS.net – it handles a host of other activities freeing staff from having to manually scan documents and saves a significant amount of time. We've listened to our education customers and developed this secure and robust solution which integrates seamlessly to a school's systems. It really is the educated choice to get the best from SIMS."

David Grashoff, Partner Manager, CAPITA SIMS commented: "It's fantastic working with new partners to deliver great products, which help our customers get the most out of the SIMS system."

Kyocera has worked with UK schools, colleges and universities for over twenty years, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, improving productivity and lowering carbon footprints.
