BlueStar, distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, and RFID technology solutions, has announced the release of the new Trimble Juno T41 handheld computer, available for purchase immediately with shipments beginning in September 2012.

The Juno T41 from Trimble introduces a smartphone-inspired option to vertical markets in need of rugged computing solutions for data collection and workforce management outside the four walls. This new handheld computer is both user- and developer-friendly, offering reliability in a wide array of real-world conditions utilising either Windows Embedded Handheld or Android operating systems with ten different language options available.

"With the release of the Juno T41, we are providing a brand-new rugged handheld that delivers the capabilities and convenience of a smartphone," said Jim Sheldon, general manager of Trimble's Mobile Computing Solutions Division. "This meets specific demands we've heard from the marketplace."

The fully rugged Trimble Juno T41 handheld mobile computer is designed to go wherever business may take it, with an IP65/IP68 rating protecting it from dust, water, shock and temperature extremes. Its advanced GPS receiver features 2-4 m accuracy as well as an accelerometer and electronic compass for outdoors applications. Along with 3.75G cellular data, SMS text and voice capability options as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity options, the Juno T41 keeps businesses connected in the office, in the field, and beyond.

"The Juno T41 is an ideal solution for users looking to invest in a single rugged device instead of a handheld and a smartphone," explained BlueStar Trimble Business Development Manager Bethany Winders. "It offers an capacitive multi-touch touchscreen interface with stylus compatibility, protected by a Gorilla® glass display that's just as readable in bright sunlight as indoors. Add to that an 8MP camera with LED flash and geotagging, a highly visible 4.3 inch display, up to 16GB storage and a full day of battery life, and you have a truly mobile handheld that can go just about anywhere and meet just about any business need."

The Trimble Juno T41 offers cutting-edge functionality for mobile enterprise applications with Trimble's recognized reliability and quality. BlueStar is offering this brand-new mobile computing solution to its Value-Added Reseller partners for applications in field service, government, transporation/logistics, and warehouse/distribution vertical markets.
