Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has launched two new mid-range colour multifunctional printing devices, the bizhub C454 and bizhub C554. Designed for intensive workgroup use, the new multifunctional bizhubs have an array of high-productivity features to increase document imaging efficiency.
Both new multifunctional printing devices feature a simple to use, nine inch colour multitouch panel, named Info-Pallette. Providing easy touch screen operation, similar to smartphones and tablet devices. Individualisation options for the panel and the printer driver menus make the new systems highly flexible. Konica Minolta's Info-Palette design further improves the overall usability. Important operations like copying, printing, scanning and faxing are all accessed in the same intuitive way.
The bizhub C454 and C554 multifunctional printing devices incorporate the latest green technology for minimal power consumption and lower environmental impact, educing the total cost of ownership (TCO) and the ecological footprint of the new bizhubs. For example, the bizhub C454 and C554 are able to scan without engine warm-up and therefore reduce energy consumption. Features such as the dynamic eco timer that analyses working conditions and automatically adjusts sleep mode and ready timings, contribute further to the ecological performance.
Another power saver is Konica Minolta's next generation Simitri HD polymerised toner used in the new bizhub systems. The use of Konica Minolta's patented Simitri HD polymerised toner, with smaller, smoother, more uniform toner particles allows fusing at lower temperatures and produces high quality images with a wider colour gamut.
Advanced network colour scanning functionality makes the new bizhubs ideal for electronic document archiving applications. They are equipped with a dualscan automatic document feeder, scanning both sides of a document in only one operation, delivering outstanding performance of 160 scanned images per minute in full colour.
Finished documents can be produced easily using the embedded 50 sheet staple finisher, while the bizhub C554 can be upgraded with an optional 100 sheets stapler.
