Infor, provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, has announced plans to boost UK membership of channel partners in the Infor Partner Network (IPN) by more than a third.  The recruitment campaign will see new partners appointed covering Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine), Infor10 ERP Express (VISUAL) and Infor10 Corporate Performance Management (CPM) applications throughout England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

Infor plans to increase the number of UK channel partners in the Infor Partner Network by more than a third, focusing the recruitment drive on partners specialising in discrete manufacturing throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

The IPN is a global channel partner programme that includes a network of people, systems and services designed to deliver the highest quality support for Infor channel partners.
Infor partners benefit from the programme's highly competitive commission rates, performance bonuses, comprehensive training and certification programme, and a Market Development Funding (MDF) programme geared towards helping partners invest back into their businesses.

Infor's Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels, Jeff Abbott, has set a goal to significantly increase Infor's channel revenue.  The IPN - and this UK recruitment drive - are key enablers of that growth.

"We joined the IPN for very simple reasons, Infor has given us the tools, resources and financial incentives to help us rapidly grow a profitable and sustainable business around Infor products," said Iain McFarlane, technical director, Boldfield.  "From demand generation, to sales, delivery and support, we have had Infor in our corner and as the manufacturing economy continues to grow, this puts us in an incredibly strong position."

"Manufacturing is leading the economic recovery in the UK, with sales of machine tools, viewed as an indicator of health of the manufacturing industry, close to pre-recession levels, according the the Manufacturing Technologies Association," said Tim Szabronski, regional vice president for channels, UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa, Infor. "This growth, coupled with support from Infor in the form of industry-leading innovation, industry specialisation, market development assistance, and competitive commission rates, provides great revenue opportunities for potential Infor Channel Partners."
