Midwich, the UK trade-only distributor of solutions in AV, print, and digital imaging, will be distributing Casio's two new WXGA projectors when they are released in June. The XJ-H2600 and the XJ-H2650 with a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens, will be the latest addition to Casio's line-up of projectors featuring the original mercury-free light source with a 20,000-hour lifespan.

Casio pioneered the production of the first projector to use the lamp-free laser & LED hybrid Light source in April 2010, achieving high brightness performance without the use of a high-pressure mercury lamp. Casio's laser & LED technology also boasts a light source life of 20,000 hours, which reduces maintenance and cuts operating costs, while achieving maximum brightness in as little as five seconds from start-up.

With its powerful output and consistent image, the XJ-H2600, and the XJ-H2650 with added connectivity are both well-suited for projecting to larger audiences. The new projectors will offer the same 20,000-hour laser & LED hybrid light source as existing Casio models, but will come with added features including customised logo at start-up, security function to prevent unauthorised access, energy-saving intelligent brightness control, 3D projection function and more.
