BlueStar, the global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, hosted its Frankfurt Technology Summit on Thursday, 19 April at the Marriott Frankfurt Messe hotel in Frankfurt, Germany. BlueStar designed its Pan-European Technology Summits, part of the Vartech Educational Series, to allow Value-Added Resellers and Independent Software Vendors to learn about new solutions from channel manufacturers and discover business development opportunities together.

Value-Added Resellers from across the country attended the all-day event, gaining inside information on upcoming products and services from an array of industry experts. "We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the presentations at this event," said Klaus Sterkler of Ratiolabel Service GmbH. Presentations at the Frankfurt Technology Summit examined new trends and technologies in RFID, ADC and other key vertical markets. "The speakers were excellent," said Petra Schnitzspahn, Sales Manager for Datalogic ADC, "with a highly interesting mix of themes in the presentations."

The Frankfurt Technology Summit was the second in a series of educational and training events to be hosted across Europe, uniting vendors and resellers with the BlueStar team. "We want to emphasize the education and training aspects of these unique events," explained BlueStar 's EMEA Marketing Manager Ricard Ferrer. "Attendees get the opportunity to gain extensive actionable business intelligence from premier industry professionals across the region."

In addition to its focus on industry education, the all-day Frankfurt Technology Summit afforded vendors and VARs the opportunity to meet and network with potential new partners, building new relationships to help grow their businesses in 2012 and beyond. "The Frankfurt Tech Summit was a very good networking platform to leverage recent technology developments to nurture and grow our reseller partnerships," said Romn Arest, Sales Manager for Citizen Systems Europe GmbH.

"We appreciated BlueStar's invitation to this event," said Kamyar Ganjifard, CEO of AJK Etiketten- und Barcodesysteme. "The interesting portfolio of vendors, effective organisation and the interesting presentations made the Frankfurt Technology Summit a particularly useful and educational event."

BlueStar's next Pan-European Technology Summit is scheduled for 24 May in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Crowne Plaza. Registration is also open for additional Technology Summits on 19 June at the Hotel HUSA Princesa in Madrid, Spain; and at the Tivoli Oriente 25 September in Lisbon, Portugal. Attendees will experience networking and educational activities, together with the exclusive "Tomorrow's Solutions Rooms," where resellers will get exclusive access to the newest solutions available.
