The Voxter Elite Edition speech terminal features an 800MHz processor, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB flash memory. topVOX reports that the 5000 mAh lithium-ion replaceable batteries also mean that any issues with battery life, particularly in multi-shift operations, are a thing of the past as this will typically provide in excess of 12 hours continuous use in high volume operations.
Weighing in at only 250g with dimensions of 103 x 65 x 44 mm, the new Voxter Elite Edition is highly compact and user-friendly. Combine this with the special design feature of only 1 button (the 'on / off' switch) the speech terminal is simple and convenient to use. All other functions are controlled by Voice, such as volume and speed controls, for example.
Despite its compact design topVOX comments that the Voxter Elite Edition is very robust and suitable for all logistics environments both within the warehouse and out in all environments. It has an IP Rating of IP67 which means it is both Dust and Water proof. Also, it is designed to operate at temperatures of between -30C and +45C.
Voice entry is made via a headset in Voxter Elite Edition and the user receives all necessary information from the system. Here topVOX uses its well-established software solution, Lydia, and the real-time operating system developed for mobile terminals CE 6.0. Data transmission is effected via WLAN or Bluetooth.
