Seagull Scientific, the software provider for label, barcode, RFID, and now card printing, has announced the launch of BarTender Version 10, delivering a rich set of new card printing features said to be ideal for use with Zebra card printers such as the ZXP Series 3 and ZXP Series 8.

Boasting a wealth of features including two-sided design, numerous 'smart card' features, support of print-time encoding of the ISO and JIS II magnetic stripe standards, automatic template switching, and the advanced capabilities needed to support Smart Card technology including Contactless (RFID) and Contact ('Touch'), make BarTender Version 10 an ideal software solution to fulfil label and card printing requirements.

Previously integrating the various hardware and software components required to add photo capture to the production of ID cards has been a time-consuming process. Fortunately, new BarTender does all the hard work for you with its ready to use print-time image capture. Compatible with most cameras, BarTender offers live on-screen preview and on-command image capture, allows for data entry forms to accept keyboarded user data and versatile database connectivity, and can be used stand-alone or from within other software.
