Motion Computing appoints Ian Davies as UK Country Manager

Motion Computing, provider of tablet PCs and mobility solutions, has appointed Ian Davies as Country Manager for the United Kingdom. Ian will be responsible for the development of the UK market as Motion continues to expand its presence throughout key verticals such as healthcare, retail, field service and construction.

Previously country manager for ruggedized computer manufacturer LXE, Davies has over a decade of experience working for manufacturers and channel partners within mobile computing.  He has extensive expertise in developing indirect sales and has worked with a wide variety of systems integrators, channel partners and independent software vendors.
 
Motion is a leader in mobile computing solutions built on its industry-leading tablet PCs, with extensive deployment successes in the UK.  Businesses as diverse as discount retailer Poundland, tourist attraction Blenheim Palace, food manufacturer Dairy Crest and the Salford Royal NHS Trust, all rely on Motion technology to improve productivity, boost customer service and keep costs under control.
