ScanSource delivers comprehensive training for communications resellers

ScanSource Communications Europe, the value-added distributor of voice, data, security and video communications solutions, over the course of 2011 trained more than 1,200 communications resellers across Europe through its education programme ScanSource University.

In the UK alone, seven new courses were introduced to the ScanSource University offering in 2011 IPO Technical Update Workshop, IPO Applications Sales, Introduction to Telecoms, Introduction to Data, Avaya CM Sales (APSS), Avaya Data Sales (APSS) and Avaya Contact Centre Sales (APSS).

"The key aim of ScanSource University is to provide resellers with an easy and convenient way to stay up-to-date with what they need to know to sell to end customers," said Kim Jennings, Sales Manager, ScanSource Communications Europe. "We continue to work very hard to stay ahead of the game in terms of the training opportunities we offer our resellers, both on a technical level, as well as geographically, by taking our training workshops to different locations in England and Scotland. We also work to forge closer relationships with our vendors on these aspects to ensure resellers make the most of the full product ranges available to them."

For 2012, ScanSource has introduced a Training Catalogue and online course registration and is looking to increase the number of courses it runs throughout the year, while also making them available in more locations.
