ScanSource Europe has updated its electronic catalogue following the release of the latest edition of the value-added distributor's printed catalogue earlier this year. Available at www.scansource.eu/ecatalogue, the ScanSource Europe eCatalogue is an easy-to-navigate, easy-to-search online tool: a Flash book utilising page-turning technology.
The new release sees last year's successful format maintained, meaning the focus remains on manufacturers' latest and most popular products with the inclusion of a large number of product comparison matrix charts to distinguish between an individual vendor's offering and help guide resellers towards the product that best meets their needs.
For ease-of-navigation, ScanSource has again divided products into colour-coded sections, helping resellers to quickly find what they are looking for: Terminals & Software, Industrial Scanners, POS Scanners, Printers & Software, Wireless & RFID, POS Printers, POS & Touch Systems, POS Peripherals, Healthcare and Services.
Alongside this, the eCatalogue's powerful search functionality using keywords, vendor names or product description leads users to the pages featuring the products they are looking for. Once there, a simple click allows users to zoom in to see all the details clearly.
"The eCatalogue is a fully interactive listing of the top products we sell," said Bert Fonderie, Vice President Merchandising, ScanSource Europe. "This year, we've also included a healthcare section, giving an overview of products and solutions available for this vertical, highlighting the opportunities in the market for resellers and making things easy for those already selling into healthcare and those that are looking to move into this rapidly growing and important market."
As well as enjoying straightforward interactive online navigation, users can effortlessly print pages of their choice, add notes and bookmark pages for future reference, share pages with colleagues and other contacts by email, and download an offline version. In addition, links to ScanSource's vendor and vertical-specific microsites and the distributor's online ordering system have also been included.
