Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has launched the bizhub PRO C6000L entry-level production print system for central reprographic departments, demanding corporate environments, public sector and commercial printers that are looking at taking their first step into the digital market. The small footprint of the bizhub PRO C6000L is a particular advantage for locations where space is often limited.

"The bizhub PRO C6000L provides an affordable entry-level solution for customers that want to move to the benefits of digital production, such as print on demand without a major price tag", says Jonathan Wilson, Market Development Manager for Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK). "This is a cost-effective solution that will meet the needs of copy shop owners, small inplant operations and other businesses outputting high volume colour work."

The bizhub PRO C6000L utilises Konica Minolta's patented Simitri HD polymerised toner for enhanced image quality and low-temperature fusing in both colour and black-and-white, even on thick and coated paper, creating picture perfect prints, in both duplex and standard printing modes.

The bizhub PRO C6000L comes with Konica Minolta's own embedded IC-601 print controller, offering full panel integration of all operations. Job Centro is a job management programme, where you can queue manage, reprint, compose, or job/page edit, all of your documents as standard. Colour Centro is a colour management tool, for calibration, spot colour editing, and advanced colour workflow.

In common with the entire Konica Minolta professional production print system range, the bizhub PRO C6000L offers a flexible choice of online finishing options including hole punching, folding, stapling and booklet making.

Jonathan Wilson confirms, "The launch of the bizhub PRO C6000L is further evidence of Konica Minolta's commitment to the production print market. Our customer intimacy approach means we are well placed to bring offerings to the market that are exactly what our customers desire. We have listened to customers and taken the time to understand their need for a system that provides an affordable entry to digital production. Our customer centric approach means that we are adopting a leadership role in the production print market. We truly understand what our customers want and need to drive their businesses forward, gain a competitive advantage and become even more profitable."
