Document management and imaging software author, Version One, has announced a partnership with Intuitive Business Intelligence, the author of advanced business intelligence (BI) dashboard solution, Intuitive Dashboards. This partnership has been formed in response to rapidly-growing demand for dashboard-integrated document imaging functionality.

Tony Bray, Managing Director of Intuitive Business Intelligence says, "We responded to an increasing demand from businesses worldwide for seamlessly-integrated business intelligence and document imaging functionality. This enables a holistic view of how the business is performing with the ability to drill down to images of the documents."

Bray continues, "Business users will benefit from a fully-integrated solution that gives them the power to analyse, interpret and manage key data so that they can make faster, more accurate business decisions."

Intuitive Business Intelligence's flagship product, Intuitive Dashboards, enables quick and easy access to business critical information, for example outstanding debt and sales per product, via graphical dashboard displays on users' PCs. The integration of Version One's document imaging software into Intuitive Dashboards will enable users to drill down through the data and access any related imaged business documents, such as purchase orders and credit notes.

Julian Buck, Managing Director from Version One says, "Version One's integrated document imaging software provides Intuitive Dashboard customers with value-added functionality.  Imaged documents, such as sales and purchase invoices, will now be accessible directly from Intuitive Dashboards enabling even greater business transparency, improved organisation-wide control and more effective decision-making."

Bray adds, "It is vital for organisations to have instant access to the evidence behind the statistics. With document imaging functionality tightly-integrated into dashboard software, organisations now have an immediate, real-time view of how the business is performing. If further interrogation is required, the users can drill down to the related documentation. This level of detail is key to fully understand and to effectively resolve any business issues."
