Canon UK has announced the launch of a new entry-level colour laser printer range (the i-SENSYS LBP7010C and LBP7018C) and a multifunctional laser printer (i-SENSYS MF3010), which brings Canon's leading-edge print technology within the price range of small or home office users.

i-SENSYS LBP7010C and LBP7018C series

The LBP7010C and LBP7018C offer affordable colour laser printing for individuals, home office or small business users, with speeds of up to 16ppm (black-and-white) and 4ppm (colour).  The two models share the same specifications but differ by colour a cool white (the LBP7010C) or stylish black (LBP7018C) exterior to blend into different office styles.

Due to a newly designed print drum and compact body, both models offer a small footprint to save valuable desk space, and time saving features, including a fast First Page Out Time (FPOT) and quick wake-up from sleep mode, deliver high quality colour prints in seconds.

Crucially for the homeworker or small office, the devices are easy to install, maintain and use with an easy toner replacement system and Canon CAPT (Canon Advanced Printing Technology) printer driver.

i-SENSYS MF3010 series
The i-SENSYS MF3010 is a compact black-and-white multifunctional laser printer with a stylish and ultra-compact design. It is ideal for users looking for an upgrade from a mono laser printer to a device which is still affordable, but offers printing, scanning and copying in a single unit.

The MF3010 includes Canon's Quick First Print quick copying and printing technologies that save time and increase productivity, even from sleep mode. It offers speeds of up to 18ppm (mono printing / copying), and First Print Output Time (FPOT) of only 7.8 seconds.

Designed for ease of use on the desktop, the MF3010 includes a new, simple, vertical control panel that lets users operate the machine without moving from their seat and a simple user interface with compact digital copier functions.

The new model also enables customers to save money thanks to low energy consumption, with a Typical Energy Consumption (TEC)* rating of just 0.6kWh per week, one of the lowest ratings of similar devices on the market.

Talking about the new ranges, Trevor Dodsworth, Head of Product Marketing, Business Imaging Group, Canon UK and Ireland says, "We have developed these products specifically with the small and home office user in mind; their compact design saves space, they're quick and simple to use and energy efficient.  The LBP7010C, LBP7018C and MF3010 offer professional Canon print quality at an entry-level price."

All three i-SENSYS models are available from 1 October 2011.
