X2 Computing, a supplier of mobile computing solutions, has opened a new Technology Development Centre in Taiwan to complement its existing facilities in the UK and USA.  Based in Taipei, the centre will be run by newly appointed Business Development Manager Frank Hsieh, who will be responsible for building new and existing relationships with computer and accessory manufacturers and vendors throughout Asia.

Frank Hsieh has over 18 years experience of the manufacturing and marketing of mobile devices including tablet computers and will be working in partnership with X2's sales and product development teams in the UK and USA on a wide range of projects requiring the delivery of custom hardware and software solutions.  He has held senior project management positions with a number of leading designers and manufacturers of tablet, notebook and desktop computers including First International Computer Inc, Tablet Kiosk and AMtek Systems.

Commenting on this new facility, Jonathan Wharrad, X2's International Product Development Director said:  "We are focused on the delivery of custom technology solutions and this new Technology Development Centre will provide us with direct access to some of the world's most innovative designers and manufacturers of mobile computing devices.  It will play a key role in enabling us to expand our business globally."
