Syscap, the independent IT finance provider, has launched a new service which will enable IT resellers to get an instant 'decision in principle' for finance for qualifying customers.
The immediate response will also include a ready-to-print finance quote, along with an analysis of the cost of the lease compared with a cash purchase to help resellers to demonstrate the value the lease offers to their customers.
The online 'decision in principle' forms part of a substantial upgrade to the Syscap Online and Syscap Option One partnership programme. It will allow resellers to see in seconds whether their customer will qualify for finance for a given purchase compared to the days it could take to get a quote from other finance providers. A swift financing decision can make the difference between a reseller securing a sale and their potential customer losing enthusiasm while waiting for a response.

Syscap Online has a user-friendly traffic light feature which allows resellers to identify their customer's finance status at a glance:
Green: the finance proposal is agreed in principle, subject to underwriting
Amber: further information is likely to be required and a final decision on the deal can then usually be obtained within 24 hours
Red: Syscap is unable to provide a facility on this occasion and the reseller should use this information to offer a cash deal.
The new-look Syscap Online also offers advice on the most cost-effective finance option for the customer. Users benefit from complete visibility of every proposal, from general account status to specific transaction details. Importantly for resellers, all proposals loaded onto the site are fully supported by the business partner management team at Syscap, through a sophisticated automated e-mail notification system.
