Honeywell has announced the introduction of the Voyager 1250g single-line laser scanner, the latest addition to the Voyager family of scanners, providing users with an exceptional out-of-box experience and aggressive scan performance, including extended depth of field. The ergonomic Voyager 1250g is said to be ideal for hand-held, scan-intensive environments, such as retail, government, manufacturing and commercial services.

"Building on the success of the 1200g, which shipped more than 10,000 units in its first month of availability, the 1250g further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the unique needs of our customers and providing them with a robust line of data capture tools."
The Voyager 1250g offers multiple features that combine to deliver ease of use, right out of the box. A multi-interface design that incorporates automatic interface detection provides a true 'plug and play' experience. For users that require hands-free scanning, the easy-to-assemble Voyager 1250g stand features automatic in-stand detection, leading to increased throughput.
Designed for use in scan-intensive environments, the extended depth of field offered by the Voyager 1250g is ideal for scanning items that are just out of reach, such as products on the bottom of a shopping cart or on top of an overhead storage rack.
