Blackroc Distribution and Impress Solutions have announced the deployment of Psion Workabout Pro 3 units for use within the healthcare arena.Impress solutions dedicated software application has been developed to enable a greater control of tracking assets using RFID technology in conjunction with the Workabout Pro 3 units.
The Workabout units were selected by Impress due the additional capability Blackroc Distribution are able to offer on the unit, in the form of the Blackroc End Cap Camera.
The camera module has been specifically designed by Blackroc for use on the Workabout Pro unit over many years of development.
Impress required a unit that could deliver many various module requirements:
Camera
GPS
GPRS
802.11 WiFi
UHF RFID reader
The Workabout Pro 3 from Blackroc is the only unit that has this capability in the marketplace and gave Impress the competitive edge they needed to win the lucrative business opportunity.
