DocuWare's presence in over 70 countries is paying off: US-based DocuWare Corporation exceeded its targets to celebrate its 10th year anniversary with revenue growth of 19.5 %. In Latin America, the company was even able to grow by 38.4 % in 2010. In the German-speaking market, DocuWare grew by 7.6 % over the previous year. The regions EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the UK also witnessed strong growth, registering 23.5 % and 13.3 % respectively. In total, revenue of the entire DocuWare Group grew by 19 % to 14.3 million euros. This also resulted in approx. 66 million Euros in project revenues for the company's network of Authorized DocuWare Partners. The growing dynamic of the company is also visible in the staff figure for 2010 this grew by ten additional employees to a total of 125.
New Customers, Number Nearly 1,000
Around the world, 996 new customers chose DocuWare solutions. For DocuWare Ltd, some of the more recognizable new customers in the UK included H&J Martin, BKK Instruments, Hankook Tyres and Tennyson Homes. DocuWare Corporation, on the other hand, attracted such well-known companies as the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England, Lockheed Martin, NYX Cosmetics and Digicel Honduras. In the EMEA region, for example, Spanish companies Cie Automotive and Esteve Aguilera, the Russian subsidiary of Sberbank, the Serbian operation of cement producer Holcim, the Bulgarian port of Varna and the Jordanian Ministry of Justice all joined our ranks. In Germany, particularly, Johanniter Unfallhilfe , an emergency care operator, the tour operator Vtours, pharmaceutical company Oncosachs, mechanical engineering company Junker and the Bavarian public transport service, Zugspitzbahn, were among those who opted for DocuWare.
Investments Anchor Growths
Despite the difficult economic climate of the past few years, DocuWare was able to significantly expand its Research & Development budget in both 2010 and 2011 with its own capital resources to drive the development of web-based products. In 2010, the Research & Development team focused on the new version DocuWare 5.1c, the browser-based Smart Connect module, which lets one incorporate the Document Management Solution into other applications without any special programming, and DocuWare iPhone and iPad Apps. The software company believes SaaS packages and other related solutions incorporating Cloud Computing offer great opportunity for further enhancing its market position in the ECM sector.
