Visioneer and Xerox have announced the Xerox DocuMate 3220, a new duplex colour flatbed scanner which is both PC and Mac compatible.  The latest generation in the award-winning scanner range, the Xerox DocuMate 3220 advances the performance and functionality of entry level flatbed scanners at a fast 23 pages per minute or 46 images per minute in duplex mode.  The DocuMate 3220 handles variable paper sizes and delicate originals on the glass or volumes of pages through the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that can hold up to 50 pages.

The Xerox DocuMate 3220 has a small footprint and can easily support the scanning requirements of both individuals in small/home offices or larger office workgroups.  Installation straight is forward and the device is very easy to use, as the simple single button control on the front panel offers scanning direct to any of 9 preset and up to 99 completely customisable one-touch scan profiles.

"Whether you need to scan piles of  A4 documents from your desk or filing cabinet, receipts, business cards, photos or even fragile originals, the Xerox DocuMate 3220 can scan almost anything you throw at it," said Peter Trapmore, EMEA Sales Director at Visioneer.  "There is almost no limit to the ways you can be more productive and organised."

The Xerox DocuMate 3220 includes Visioneer OneTouch with Kofax VRS technology, TWAIN and WIA drivers, Nuance PaperPort, Nuance OmniPage Pro for Windows and ExactScan Lite and Newsoft PageManager for Macintosh OS.
