RF Code, provider of real-time IT asset management and wire-free environmental monitoring solutions, has launched its European channel programme. The goal is to help partners to promote, sell and support RF Code's innovative range of wire-free environmental and power monitoring and real-time IT asset tracking solutions. Such solutions reduce the time and cost of discovering, tracking, and monitoring IT assets and the challenging conditions that threaten them.

RF Code will be running a stand (E57) at the upcoming Data Centre World on the 2-3 March.

"Over the last few years, we have had steady organic growth across Europe but we're formalising our presence here with a new office and a team on the ground to truly support our channel," says Adrian Barker, European Sales Director, RF Code. "We have based the new partner program on a formula that has worked well for us in the US market and are now actively recruiting and engaging with partners to generate new business."

It's an ideal time because, explains Barker, "Our wire-free environmental and power monitoring solutions have fast become a best practice in the US. Europe is a natural expansion for us as power and cooling and IT asset management issues continue to provide opportunities for RF Code's partners to solve their clients' problems. By eliminating the wires and cables traditional monitoring solutions require, we're enabling customers to save time and money. That's why we are now seeing strong demand from the IT sector, especially around the data centre. Early entrants will be in a better position to win profitable, long term clients in a market that is quickly expanding."

RF Code technology is used extensively around the world by large enterprises, governmental agencies, and leading healthcare institutions to enable data centre, IT, facilities, and building professionals, among others, to reduce the costs of tracking, managing and monitoring their IT assets. RF Code is used in all manner of projects from tracking and managing critical IT enterprise assets such as laptops and mobile medical equipment to tracking and managing data centre servers down to the rack level.

Solutions are comprised of active RFID hardware, including asset tags, sensor tags, and readers, and software that manages the environmental, power and asset data collected by the RF Code hardware. Based on open standards and open APIs, RF Code solutions also integrate easily into the market's leading asset management, environmental and power monitoring, facilities and building management, and enterprise management software platforms, opening new revenue opportunities for the channel.

Benefits for Channel Partners
Certified partners are eligible for deal registration with margin support, market development funding and both technical and sales training as well as per project integration and development expertise. "We are not looking to recruit every partner that shows an interest," comments Barker, "but we are keen to expand our footprint to vertical markets and areas where we don't have existing partners."

The new two tier European partner programme will see an expansion of a global distribution agreement with a major global distributor to provide the complete RF Code portfolio of IT asset management and environmental and power monitoring solutions.

Concludes Barker, "The European partner programme will initially start in the UK and will expand out to key markets such as Germany, France, Spain and the Nordics over the next year. The market for our solutions is expanding everywhere."
