Commercial IT Services is to host its annual Technology Day at the Cheltenham Racecourse on Thursday 10 February. Following the success of previous years, the event will feature insights into the latest technology solutions that enable businesses to compete more efficiently.

Set to cut through the hype associated with Cloud Computing, the day will comprise presentations by keynote speakers from leading companies including Hewlett Packard (HP), Citrix, NewField IT and the Commercial Group.  Following the presentations, the panel of experts will answer questions from delegates.

"Our complimentary event has been designed to facilitate the sharing of best practice between delegates and specialists," explains Reg Hall, Senior Consultant and VMware specialist for Commercial IT Services. "Ultimately we work to ensure delegates have access to experts and all the information they to make a significant difference to their day-to-day operations."

From virtualisation and information management through to managed print, the Technology Day is a must attend event for IT and Communications Managers, Directors, FDs and business owners.

"The issue with the phrase 'Cloud Computing' is that it there is currently no one single definition," continues Hall. "Businesses therefore need to understand what it means to them, where they should start if virtualisation is something they have thought of but not yet adopted, and how they can make the most of their current virtual environment to deliver true ROI."

Afternoon Master Classes will be held for delegates where they will benefit from an in-depth 45 minute session exploring the latest solutions with an industry expert. Specialist topics such as Citrix XenDesktop, HP Storage and, of course, Virtualisation will all be covered.

With over 30 of the industry's most influential technology providers being showcased in the main exhibition, providing demonstrations of the most innovative solutions available, the Technology Day will prove to be extremely beneficial to delegates.

"We have an impressive line up of speakers and, given the level of interest we have had from people registering for the event, this Annual Technology Day looks set to be the best attended yet," concludes Hall.
