Honeywell delivers reliable scanning performance with Voyager 1200G

Honeywell has introduced the Voyager 1200g linear scanner, a device designed to deliver high-quality scanning performance and readability on poor quality or damaged barcodes. An evolution of the single-line scanner, the Voyager 1200g is said to shorten read time, improve productivity and minimise human error associated with manual data entry. With the Voyager 1200g, retailers are claimed to be able to improve throughput, leading to a more efficient retail environment with shorter wait times, and ultimately increased customer and employee satisfaction.

In addition, the Voyager 1200g simplifies installation by providing automatic configuration of the device based on detection of the type of interface cable, as well as the presence or absence of a stand. This unique capability, along with tool-free stand assembly, combines to deliver a superior out-of-box experience for Voyager 1200g users.

Honeywell's Voyager 1200g will be on display at Wincor World 2011 Trade Fair & Forum from January 25-27, 2011 in Paderborn, Germany and at EuroShop Global Trade Fair (Hall 6, Stand 6134) from February 26-March 02 in Dsseldorf, Germany. The device will begin shipping globally later this month.
