Brother launches biggest ever wireless inkjet range

Brother has responded to the growing wireless market with its latest inkjet range which offers the company's biggest ever selection of compact wireless inkjet printers.

With latest figures showing the market grew 114 per cent between 2008 and 2009*, Brother's latest range of A4 all-in-one inkjets offers resellers a strong sales opportunity with 8 out of 11 printers in the full range now offering wireless.

Ideal for home office and small business use, the new machines also offer a number of advantages including LCD colour screens on all models, several with backlit TFT screens, improving the clarity of the images, and all with a rapid 30 second photo print speed.

In addition, the machines have been given a sleek new look in a fashionable black finish and are competitively priced with wireless models starting at around 85.00 exc. VAT.

Phil Jones, sales and marketing director at Brother, said: "Offering our biggest wireless range yet is a significant step for Brother and shows how we are staying on top of the latest customer trends and responding to the changing market.

"People's understanding of wireless is growing as they start to realise benefits it offers; the flexibility, how easy it can be to set up and the fact that the technology is secure. As a result, it has become a huge opportunity for the channel to capitalise on, with the wireless inkjet market value alone now reaching 65m per year.

"Our previous range of award-winning compact multifunction inkjets sold extremely well and with prices well under 100 this latest collection provides resellers with an ideal opportunity to engage end users to upgrade to a wireless model."

According to Context, Brother is the fastest growing wireless printer vendor in the combined inkjet and laser categories.

All the machines are Energy Star and Blue Angel accredited, ensuring the range is as environmentally and ethically sustainable as possible.  Each model continues to use single ink cartridges which significantly reduce the amount of ink wastage in comparison to all-in-one cartridges.

The new A4 series is available from July, starting around 57.00 (SRP exc. VAT), and follows on from Brother's award-winning A3 inkjets.
