Visioneer and Xerox have announced the Xerox DocuMate 3640, a duplex flatbed scanner that can scan up to 80 images per minute (ipm).
The scanner features an 80-page capacity automatic document feeder, with an ultrasonic double feed detection system to ensure that stapled or misfed documents are identified and the user is alerted. The DocuMate 3640 is powered by Visioneer OneTouch to scan documents to a choice of 99 preset user configurable destinations.
This enables documents to be scanned with customised settings for resolution, colour, cropping, file format and then delivered to virtually any application, folder or device all at the touch of a button. Bundled software includes Nuance PaperPort and OmniPage Pro, Kofax VRS, EMC QuickScan Pro Demo and Visioneer OneTouch technology.
