After a string of successful events across Europe, ScanSource Europe has revealed that more than 1000 people attended the Partner Tour in 2009.
The Partner Tour, the value added distributors pan-European roadshow, stopped off at seven locations; as well as events in the Netherlands, the UK, France and Germany, 2009 saw the Partner Tour visit Italy, Spain and Sweden for the first time.
Partner Tour attendees were able to network with ScanSource employees and representatives from the distributors vendor partners. In addition, many ISVs were in attendance to showcase their solutions and build up pan-European reseller networks. Highlights of the 2009 programme included a trip to Villa Park, home of Aston Villa FC, in the UK, and a memorable event at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart for German-speaking resellers.
The combination of memorable locations, comprehensive agendas and the potential to make valuable new contacts seems to be a hit with our customers, said Xavier Cartiaux, President, ScanSource Europe. The aim of the Partner Tour is for ScanSource to come to our resellers and give them everything they need best-of-breed vendors exhibiting the latest solutions, sales training and networking opportunities in a location near them.
In 2010, the number of events will rise to eight, with the first Partner Tour in Eastern Europe taking place in Poland in April. The complete agenda for the year will be announced soon at www.partnertour.eu.
