Cybertill signs reseller partnership with ScanSource Europe

EPoS & e-commerce technology company, Cybertill, has announced its partnership with ScanSource Europe, a leading distributor of IBM point-of-sale hardware. The new relationship will see IBM hardware supplied as part of a Cybertill solution to retailers in the UK and internationally.

Ian Tomlinson, founder and Managing Director of Cybertill, sets the scene.  IBM approached us recently, at a time when we were looking to take our business to a new level.  We felt that a partner that could provide a world-class reputation would be a real asset.

Cybertills decision was influenced by IBMs pedigree and its Anyplace Kiosk product set that is applicable across the board, from single till operations to major retail rollouts.  The new partnership will see Cybertill benefit from rapid supply from ScanSource Europes state-of-the-art warehouse, as well as a range of value added services, such as technical support, financing and configuration services.

Once Cybertill had engaged with IBM, it was introduced to ScanSource Europe who, as a long-term, award-winning IBM partner, was the natural choice of distributor for Cybertills needs.

The partnership has already sealed its first contracts.  A major heritage tourism venue has opted for IBM for its hardware refresh programme, and a large high-street communications retailer will be installing an IBM till solution in its new stores.
