Document management and imaging software author, Version One, has recognised and rewarded the significant contribution of its business partners to Version Ones success over the past twelve months during its Partner Sales Conference and Race Day at Wolverhampton Racecourse. Version One presented eight awards to partner companies and individuals who demonstrated sales achievements and commitment to the re-selling of Version Ones products.

Warrington-based Sage re-seller Datel Computing Ltd. claimed Version Ones prestigious Business Partner of the Year 2009 for the third year running and Ensphere Consulting Ltd was nominated New Business Partner of the Year 2009.

Julian Buck, General Manager of Version One, says, We are delighted to award Datel our Business Partner of the Year award for the third consecutive year to acknowledge the impressive volume of sales they consistently generate for Version One. Datel engages with us at every level and has been instrumental in helping us to launch our new document management solution for Sage 200 users to the market.

South African-based Jera Consulting scooped Version Ones Overseas Partner of the Year 2009 award whilst Oracle partner, Patech, was awarded Outstanding Sales Achievement. Transforce received the Outstanding Project Delivery accolade with regards to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Agresso received the DbCapture Sales Achievement Award in recognition of the significant time and effort Agresso has put into the re-selling of Version Ones data capture solution. In addition, Version One commended the accomplishments of Chris Mason of Solarsoft and Steve Henthorne of Datel by handing them each an Outstanding Individual Achievement Award 2009.

COA Solutions was presented the final award of the day, The Green Award, for enabling Version One to plant the greatest number of broad-leaved trees over the past 12 months. As part of its environmental agenda, Version One plants a tree each time a customer purchases its software and each time a re-seller facilitates a sale.

Buck comments, With over 90 per cent of our software sales coming via the re-seller channel, its key that we remain as committed as ever to working closely with existing re-sellers and continue to look for opportunities to partner with new re-sellers. This years partner day was another great success and it gave us the platform in which to thank our partners for their continued support and contributions and outline our ambitious future plans in which their involvement is key.
