Wavetrend Technologies, a world leader in the deployment of active RFID solutions, has announced that its readers are fully compatible with Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009.
The software device kits for three active RFID readers the RX300, RX900 and RX1000 that Wavetrend developed to interface with Microsoft Corp.s previous server release will now be supported by BizTalk Server 2009 from day one.
By providing its customers with a complete RFID infrastructure compatible with a mature, secure server platform, such as Microsoft BizTalk Server, Wavetrend can offer powerful enterprise solutions to inform real-time decision making. Wavetrends readers can interface with the BizTalk Server via Serial, Ethernet or Wireless technology. The comprehensive range of active RFID technology that Wavetrend offers combined with Microsofts robust platform will enable significant flexibility in the implementation of custom solutions.
With this latest release of BizTalk Server, Microsoft has made a number of enhancements related to the integration of RFID. These upgrades, including enabling BizTalk RFID for mobile devices, will allow users to better capitalize on the application versatility and data integrity of RFID technology. A Wavetrend track-and-trace solution, coupled with the expanded capabilities introduced in BizTalk Server 2009, extends the scale of event processing and data collection across the enterprise, and around the globe.
