Avnet Technology Solutions has launched a sales promotion to drive the channel to register and close business between now and Oracles financial year end, the 31st May.

Avnet will award Partner sales people an entry to the prize draw for each qualifying 10,000 worth of license sales registered between 1st April and 31st May 2009*. Every entry has an equal chance to win a brand new Mini Cooper or 13,715 cash equivalent.

Commenting on the promotion Mickey Bharat, Avnet Independent Software Director, said, Avnet wants to create a positive buzz in the channel to overcome some of the general doom and gloom. Now, more than ever, individuals who stay focused on closing business deserve to be rewarded.  This way we recognise a top performers success with a significant reward.  Avnet, sole distributors for Oracle technology products, has created the promotion to ensure continued focus on the mid market where the technology products are most suited and where significant success has been achieved to date.

Mickey Bharat continued, Oracles recent financial results demonstrated the amazing resilience of their business in these troubled times, and the Oracle practice within Avnet has continued to reflect Oracles sustained growth. This promotion, coupled with our recently launched FAST-track programme, which enables channel partners with no formal trading relationship with Oracle to sell entry level Oracle products, represents a significant opportunity for the UK channel community

Mickey Bharat concluded, Avnet will continue to ensure that Oracle Partners remain well supported with ongoing marketing, pre-sales and exceptional transactional support to help them identify and close new opportunities throughout this period. Good luck in the draw everyone.
