Introducing Mitsubishis User friendly High Performance Projector

Mitsubishi Electrics Visual Information Systems division, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality, high definition presentation and display products, has launched a new user friendly, portable projector the XD221U.

Utilising the latest DLP technology the XD221U is a cost effective projector which features a 10-watt speaker and audio mix function. Designed for classrooms, small assembly halls, meeting rooms and corporate boardrooms users can capture their audiences attention by combining both visual and audio settings for effective presentations.

Benefiting from XGA resolution (1024 x 768) the XD221U comes equipped with 2300 ANSI lumens of brightness, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a 5 segment colour wheel (R/G/B/W/Y) to enhance the quality and vibrancy of images, even in well lit working environments. To achieve the best display results possible the XD211U supports a Wall Screen function which allows users to select a specific colour surface (including beige, blue, green, pink, black Board and whiteboard) which automatically makes adjustments to the output settings in accordance to the chosen background.

Built with two separate 3.5mm audio inputs and an audio mixer the XD221U does not require an external speaker; audio material can be projected from 2 different sources simultaneously, such as a DVD and a third-party wireless microphone, giving presenters the option to amplify their voice further. Unlike any other projector on the market, the XD221Us Audio Mixer feature allows users to adjust the volume levels of each input for its 10W built-in speaker.

Designed as a flexible, light weight projector the XD211U weighs only 3.2kg, ideal for portable use. Featuring an instant shut down function users can always power down quickly and easily without damaging the projector; furthermore the security chain lock bar acts as a theft deterrent for added piece of mind. For ease of use, Mitsubishi have created a new simplified Quick Menu bar which includes 7 basic features and one customizable option that users can choose from. With a click of a button users can also select the automatic subtitle function and instantly transform words into subtitle; useful for ESL or hearing impaired viewers.

Helping to reduce overall running costs, the XD221U comes equipped with a filter free design to decrease the amount of dust accumulation, a low standby power mode to save energy and an efficient lamp that lasts up to 4000 hours. The XD221U operates at a low 26dBA noise for distraction free, inspiring presentations.
