The Scan Station 500, equipped with Kodaks exclusive Voice Attachment feature, allows users to send audio messages with personalised comments or instructions along with scanned images to ensure clear communications. An eight inch LCD colour touch screen provides programmable shortcuts and an intuitive graphical user interface further enhancing the Scan Station 500s focus on ease of use.
With the touch of a button, users can easily send high quality images of scanned documents to multiple destinations simultaneously, including network drives, FTP sites, printers, email, fax and portable USB drives, said Fast. Now they can even send a personalised voice message with those images.
The Scan Station 500s robust design provides exceptional paper handling and many image enhancing features designed to help end users extract information from a variety of documents. Equipped with a 75 sheet feeder and a daily duty cycle of 1,500 scans, the Scan Station 500 provides 200 dots per inch colour duplex scanning at up to 30 pages per minute. The Scan Station 500 also utilises Kodaks exclusive Perfect Page Image Processing Technology to enhance the integrity and accuracy of digital information captured from paper documents.
Another unique is the ability to attach a tethered A3 or A4 flatbed for exception scanning and a tactile keyboard is also among the available accessories.
Notable Solutions, Inc. (NSi) AUTOSTORE Software is available as an option for Scan Station 500 customers. Additionally, the KODAK Scan Station 520EX is available for ISV integration.
The KODAK Scan Station 500 has a list price of 2,495 and comes with a 12 month Advance Unit Replacement warranty. It will be shown at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, Hall 3 Booth 29 from 3rd to 8th March.
