As part of its value added commitment to its reseller partners, ScanSource Europe has invested heavily in Technical Support. ScanSource now offers resellers a complete Technical Support portfolio, featuring both pre- and post-sales support.
In terms of pre-sales support, ScanSource engineers work closely with the sales team, ensuring that products recommended for a solution are those that best meet the customers needs, as well as advising on compatibility issues and possible system integrity challenges. At a post-sales level, engineers work to isolate and identify problems with hardware and software, offering solutions quickly and efficiently.
We have graduated from providing support for products to providing complete solution support, said Phil Boyd, Director of Partner Services, ScanSource Europe. While the number of requests is continually increasing, our engineers ongoing training means that more and more requests can be resolved on the first call.
ScanSource Europe Technical Support is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Support is global, but engineers are specialised in key technology areas. ScanSource Europe is working on expanding the team further, both in terms of technical expertise and language support.
