DMSL, a leading distributor of BT services in the UK, has welcomed BTs recent announcement of significant price reductions in its managed MPLS offering, IP Converge, as a good opportunity for channel partners.

IP Converge is a managed MPLS network that offers highly reliable performance and quality of service options for organisations that need cost-effective connectivity and guaranteed bandwidth without the uncertainties of Internet-based VPNs.

Charges on the popular 2Mb leased line access and 10Mb Flex services have been reduced making IP Converge more attractive than ever.  The changes mean that DMSL can help resellers who have opportunities to provide a managed VPN with keener pricing and pre-sales technical support, combined with an appealing revenue share proposition.

DMSLs BT Technical Sales Specialist, Simon Heath says: IP Converge is an ideal solution for customers with four or more sites that they to need to connect and where the reseller does not wish to configure or support the network, as BT provides the whole solution, including managed routers and on-going support and with recurring commissions of up to 10 per cent on IP Converge contracts, its an attractive proposition for the reseller as well as the end user customer.
