Reseller promotion sees sales of SwitchBlade x908 increase by 28%

Allied Telesis, a leading global provider of IP/Ethernet and IP Triple Play network products, will bring back its successful Trip of a Lifetime reseller promotion for six months starting December 2008, in response to popular demand. The announcement comes following the completion of the first run of the promotion from May to October 2008, which has seen sales of its Switchblade x908 product increase by 28%.  The Trip of a Lifetime promotion offers a monthly prize of two business class, or five economy class tickets to New Zealand together with US$4000 spending money.

The Trip of a Lifetime promotion received an extremely positive response from the reseller community across Europe, and sales of the SwitchBlade x908 have exceeded expectations.  Melvyn Wray, Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at Allied Telesis said, "The SwitchBlade x908 is one of our flagship products and we are delighted to announce the second Trip of a Lifetime promotion. It is part of Allied Telesis' strategy to offer our channel network training as well as a variety of incentives as a demonstration of our support, something that will be especially important over the months ahead." 

Over and above the promotion, during the last six months Allied Telesis trained over 700 European resellers on the product through an extensive roadshow programme.
