Champagne corks were popping at Version One's recent Annual Partner Day at Nottingham Racecourse after the document management and imaging software author handed out eight awards in recognition of its partners' achievements over the past twelve months.
Not even heavy overnight rainfall, which unfortunately led to the cancellation of the day's racing, could dampen the mood of the delegates who gathered to celebrate their combined successes.
Sage reseller Datel Computing Ltd. scooped Version One's prestigious 'Business Partner of the Year 2008' award and Agresso was nominated 'New Business Partner of the Year 2008'.
Lynne Munns, General Manager of Version One, comments, "Datel was a most deserving winner of our 'Business Partner of the Year' award after generating the highest turnover of licence revenues for Version One's products which made a key contribution to us achieving 30% growth last financial year. Agresso also made a significant contribution, showing outstanding commitment as a new business partner."
Other awards saw BDE Group claim the 'Outstanding Sales Achievement' accolade whilst the 'DbCapture Sales Achievement Award' was given to Patech in recognition of its impressive sales of Version One's automated invoice capture solution. COA Solutions completed the impressive line-up by receiving 'The Green Award' for being the partner that has enabled the greatest number of trees to be planted over the past 12 months. Version One plants a tree for each customer that makes a software purchase and each time a partner facilitates a sale.
In addition, Version One singled out David Hudson of BDE Group, Darren Tolley of Datel Computing and Peter Dunne of Patech for 'Outstanding Individual Achievement' awards.
Munns continues, "Once again The Partner Day proved a huge success, allowing us to acknowledge the valuable contributions of our partners, strengthen relationships and communicate business strategy. Looking ahead, we are committed to signing-up even more resellers as our reseller channel is the life blood of our business".
