DocsCorp integrates with leading Software-as-a-Service provider

DocsCorp, a global leader in PDF integration technology, has significantly expanded its integration capability to include NetDocuments, a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider.

"Law firms are increasingly demanding more from their PDF creation and management software; collation, redaction, electronic filing, bates stamping, document binding as well as tight integration into their business-critical applications, processes and systems," said Alvin Tedjamulia, CTO, NetDocuments. "pdfDocs Desktop provides an effortless integrated solution with our SaaS-based Document Management Services that we are delighted to offer our customer base."

NetDocuments, a leader in SaaS document, email and collaborative document services, provides legal, real estate, financial and health service professionals with instant access to their "work" (documents, emails, projects etc) no matter where they are. Documents are stored in a repository that users access through their browser.

Integration with pdfDocs Desktop means that NetDocuments users will be able to "pull down" documents to their local system, convert them to PDF and "push" them back as new or related documents. Alternatively, users can save documents into NetDocuments as PDFs direct from MS Word.

The unique pdfDocs Desktop Organizer workspace lets users assemble single pages, documents or multiple sets of documents while they work on them. Users can combine, mark-up, add stationery, watermarks, digital signatures, redact text and split PDF documents for easy electronic filing. A powerful new Binder feature enables users to collate PDF and non-PDF documents into a single or multi-document collection, complete with a table of contents, cross-document bookmarks, links and indexes. The final document or collection can be Bates stamped with just a few mouse clicks.

Commenting on the announcement, David Woolstencroft, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing "We are happy to welcome NetDocuments users to the DocsCorp family. One of our most successful strategies has been around integration. Our mission has always been to develop solutions that integrate into and add value to core business applications without requiring a lot of training and change management. Integration should not only be seamless, it should also be as painless as possible."

DocsCorp plans to extend its integration within the next couple of months to help NetDocuments provide an even more feature-rich, efficient and secure document service to its clients. Some of the features earmarked to be included in the next release will be the ability to save a document back into NetDocuments as the current or new version of an existing document.

DocsCorp develops innovative business applications that integrate into core business applications, processes and systems to deliver higher levels of efficiency, productivity and security for corporations, financial institutions, governments and legal firms. More than 3,000 organizations worldwide rely on DocsCorp every day to manage the flow of documents within the business and the exchange of business-critical documents beyond the company's walls using the Portable Document Format (PDF), a format that is safe, secure and universal.
