Cathedral Hygiene has selected a web enabled navigation and vehicle tracking service from Masternaut Three X.

Cathedral provide sanitary hygiene and washroom services to more than 40,000 sites across the UK and with a service schedule of 4 weeks or less their nationwide team of service and installation engineers complete more than half a million site visits per year. Using satellite positioning technology Masternaut will help Cathedral improve service levels, reduce the administrative burden of managing the companys fleet and provide evidence of driving activities.

Cathedral pride themselves on providing an excellent service across their range which includes sanitary bins, air fresheners, soap dispensers, hand driers, sanitary vending and water management systems.  Customer retention is critical to the success of our business, said John Smith, Service Manager at Cathedral. Using Masternaut we have been able to analyse our workload distribution and client base, maximising fleet usage and ensuring the best possible service to our clients.

Masternaut uses satellite technology combined with high speed communications to establish and communicate the exact position of each of Cathedrals 100 service and installation vehicles. With unique vehicle/driver identification and minute by minute movement tracking, all accessed via a secure, easy to use web interface, managers know where their personnel are, where they have been and even where they are heading.

Cathedral selected the Masternaut solution having tested a number of competitive systems. There really was no choice, continued Smith. Many of the systems we trialled took a long time to deliver quite basic information. Using Masternaut its quick and easy to identify individual vehicles and the online mapping gives real world context. The web service has a user friendly, intuitive interface yet delivers really powerful results helping to support and manage individual vehicles and the fleet as a whole.

Smith added, We initially chose Masternaut for their excellent technology and unit reliability but the Masternaut team has, from day one, been efficient, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to deliver the best solution for our specific requirements.
