Probrand joins Government Programme

Technology services provider, Probrand, has been approved as a level one partner within the Government Gateway Alliance Programme.

The Government Gateways Alliance Programme (GGAP) is part of the Cabinet Offices e-Delivery teams ongoing commitment to work in partnership with key IT suppliers in delivering the Government Gateway and related services across the public sector.

e-Delivery team (eDt) supports a shared service culture and is responsible for a set of products which combined to form the Government Gateway, a mission critical ICT application for online government services. eDts work supports the Transformation Government activities.

The Government Gateway Alliance Programme aims to establish key partnerships with IT and business suppliers. This integrates and supports solutions direct to the new or existing customer base within government and assists the eDt.

EDT is a division of the Delivery and Transformation Group within the Cabinet Office, and is based in Birchwood, Warrington. The primary purpose of EDT is to sustain and develop the Government Gateway. To date the GGAP has signed up over 70 private sector IT companies in order to co-ordinate and promote the roll out of the Government Gateway across the Public Sector.
