I.R.I.S. The IRIScan 2 simplifies all your retyping needs, whether you are at home, on the road, a small business, etc.. It is designed to be carried anywhere: it is compact, light, USB powered and fits any laptop suitcase.
The IRIScan 2 is available in two versions Express and Executive - and comes with an extended suite of useful applications to manage your paper documents in the most efficient and easiest way. Readiris Pro 11 PC and/or Mac (the lastest versions of IRIS OCR software) will recognise your documents text information or generate PDF or any editable office documents. I.R.I.S. Desktop Search will allow you to quickly find any document from your computer, using only a few keywords. Cardiris Pro 4 for PC and Mac scans, recognises, sorts and exports scanned business cards into contacts you can use in any and all popular contact managers. Also part of the software suite is Roxio PhotoSuite Special Edition to capture, edit and create spectacular photo projects (for PC only). Finally, @Promt, which comes with the IRIScan 2 Executive, is a powerful full document translation software, available in 11 language pairs.
The IRIScan 2 is a sheet-fed scanner. It is designed to scan from small sized paper documents, like business cards, up to letter size documents. Its resolution reaches up to 1200 dpi in color, grayscale or black and white. USB connected and USB powered, the IRISCan 2 does not need any other power supply.
The scanner also has, two useful buttons, one allowing you to scan directly into Readiris, the other to launch Cardiris when you scan a business card.
