Metrologic and ScanSource Europe Partner

Metrologic Instruments, Inc. today announced that it has signed a strategic partnering agreement covering the United Kingdom with ScanSource Europe.

ScanSource Europe is a division of ScanSource, Inc. {NASDAQ:SCSC}, a leading international distributor of specialty technology products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Metrologic will supply ScanSource Europe with its range of data capture and collection hardware. ScanSource sells only to resellers and adds value by providing a variety of services, including a focus on excellent product availability, multi-tier technical support, pre- and post-sales support through their business development teams and comprehensive customer service.

Metrologic and ScanSource already have an extremely successful business partnership in the United States. As Mark Ryan, vice president of Metrologic-EMEA explains, Our relationship in the United States over the last 14 years has enabled our two organisations to create a hugely successful business model, which we can now replicate in the UK by using the experience of both our companies to introduce and market a growing portfolio of premium data capture devices.
