APC-MGE, a global leader in critical power and cooling services, has announced the appointment of Paul Tyrer as Regional VP of its UK and Ireland operations.
Paul Tyrer reports to Daniel Doimo, recently appointed as senior vice president APC-MGE & president of EMEA and Latin America for APC-MGE.
According to Doimo, We are delighted to have Paul Tyrer leading APC-MGEs business in the UK and Ireland. He will continue to foster open and ongoing communication with our local stakeholders, in particular our customers, partners and employees, supporting their needs from the desktop to the data centre to the factory floor. With ultimate responsibility for the complete care of our customers, Paul will ensure APC-MGE continues to create delighted customers through the delivery of the industrys most comprehensive solution and service offering and a focus on the distinct needs of both the UK and Ireland marketplaces.
Paul Tyrer first joined APC in 1994. During his time at the company he has held several positions of responsibility. Under his tenure as UK Distribution Manager in 1996, the company saw a dramatic increase in its UPS business through the expansion of its sales channels. More recently as Director of Consumer Products, EMEA, Tyrer has been associated with the companys further penetration into consumer markets with the introduction of new products and innovations to its audio visual, notebook and mobility solutions.

APC-MGE was formed in February 2007 when Schneider Electric acquired APC and combined its market leadership with that of MGE UPS SYSTEMS. Laurent Vernerey, executive vice president of Schneider Electric, is APC-MGEs president and CEO.
