Interactive Intelligence and Vodat International Sign UK Elite Partner Agreement

Distribution agreement to deliver unified communications software to retail and related markets

Vodat International, a communications solution provider specialising in the retail market, has signed an Elite Partner agreement that enables it to resell business communications software from Interactive Intelligence Inc.

Under the agreement, Stockport-based Vodat International will sell the Interactive Intelligence contact centre automation and enterprise IP telephony products and services throughout the UK.

With many years of telecommunications experience offering the retail sector everything from design and procurement to implementation and support, Vodat International adds major value to our vertical distribution strategy, says Myles Rose, Interactive Intelligence territory manager for the UK and Ireland.

Vodat International managing director, Mike Bielinski, believes that the timing of the agreement is ideal, citing an industry characterised by tight margins that have forced retailers to further reduce operational costs and enhance profitability without compromising service.

Many industry surveys show that the retail sector is among the most likely to adopt advanced technologies such as voice over IP, he confirms.
