Value-added distributor builds on solutions for SMEs and industrial sector
Voice and data networking systems manufacturer LANCOM Systems has announced its partnership with value-added distributor ARC Technology. The distributor will bring LANCOMs range of remote working, VoIP and wireless solutions to the UK channel.
The deal is part of LANCOMs strategy to perpetuate the success it has had in mainland Europe, where it had a turnover of 19 million Euros, in the UK.
The partnership will strengthen ARCs voice and data networking support for SMEs. ARC supports a number of leading brands, and has built its product offering around emerging technologies and niche products.
ARCs interest in LANCOM was born out of its products technical flexibility, scalability and up-front price, which has attracted SMEs, as well as newly adopting industries. With the help of LANCOMs solutions, ARC hopes to grow its offering to untapped markets such as the automotive industry, with products that can perform in industrial environments.
LANCOM will work with ARC to develop tailor-made service packages for the channel which will include marketing and technical support. ARC will also educate resellers on the potential of the advanced technical features of LANCOMs routers and supporting networking equipment.
