Its Barcode Bedlam at DataScan

It has long been known that DataScan Systems Ltd are crazy about barcode and data capture systems. Now they have surpassed themselves by developing a game to illustrate their passion for bar coding.

The game was developed as part of our 10 year celebrations, we thought it would be a fun way to thank our customers for all their support and at the same time raise some awareness of our fundraising with Datalogic for the NSPCC. Says Paul Mason, Managing Director.

The game is a simple concept, the player selects their weapon of choice from a selection of the Datalogic Scanners, then the metal doors slide back to reveal either a retail outlet, warehouse, pharmacy, manufacturing plant or supermarket. The player then franticly scans as many barcodes as quickly as possible to score maximum points. The game consists of 5 levels each of which is progressively harder.

Once all 5 levels have been completed, the player can register their top score on the leader board and be entered into DataScans Birthday Prize Draw.
