Masternaut's mobile solutions arm Three X has launched a new generation of mobile software solutions.

The first development sees complete convergence of vehicle tracking, web technology and mobile communications. Providing seamless and live communication of vital information between mobile workers and the office, the developments are aimed at fleet operators in the service, logistics and transport sectors.

The developments follow the acquisition of GE Mobile Solutions and the Three X brand by Masternaut last year. Integration between Masternaut's web-based vehicle telematics services and Three X mobile solutions was seen as key objective at the outset, providing the missing link in current offerings to the market.

Masternaut's web-based telematics services not only track vehicles but provide an array of automatically-acquired operational data.   This includes time of arrival and departure, entry into pre-specified locations, exceptions reporting with automated alerts for improved safety, security and management information.

Three X meanwhile provide mobile job, service and delivery management solutions using mobile devices linked live to back office systems.  By combining Masternaut and Three X capabilities, very powerful solutions are now available that will enable the streamlining of operations, improved service delivery and increased profitability.

"Three X has a reputation for delivering effective mobile solutions that provide paperless working with added efficiency and improved management control. Masternaut adds a vital edge with more crucial operational information coming on stream that offers enormous business benefits to those that take advantage of it" says Andrew Tillman, CEO of Three  X.

Three X is offering a wide range of solutions from standalone out-of-the-box starter solutions to more sophisticated systems that can be fully integrated with leading back-office systems.
