MICROLISE APPOINTS MAN ERF AS UK RESELLER

Microlise, the Nottingham  based systems integrators of technology solutions for the mobile workforce, logistics and supply chain industries, has appointed MAN ERF (UK) Limited as UK reseller for the Microlise Fleet & Distribution and Microlise RFID Systems suites of products.

As a leading manufacturer of heavy goods vehicles, MAN ERF in the UK distribute and lease fleets of vehicles to a wide range of market sectors. This appointment will allow MAN ERF to offer a complete range of web enabled added value services to their clients to maximise their return on investment and reduce the total cost of ownership of their vehicle fleet.

The services focus on the Microlise Fleet & Distribution modular portfolio of solutions which manages mobile workforces, goods in transit and the assets used to transport them (vehicles and drivers). The solutions provide benefits to delivery & service fleets through modules to optimise scheduling & planning, monitor schedule adherence, maximise use of assets, reduce fuel consumption, improve driver performance, manage the tasks of mobile workers and generate accurate real-time proof of delivery and collection.

Microlise expertise in designing and delivering integrated RFID solutions will also be available to complement these mobile workforce systems using the inherent benefits of this latest auto ID technology - non line of sight, non invasive collection and verification of stock movement and stock transaction data.

The solutions will be delivered as managed web services hosted on MAN ERF (UK) dedicated servers. Users will be able to gain access to the system using a simple, password protected web browser interface
