Muratec launches A3 multifunctionals for high productivity

Muratec, the multifunction specialist company, has launched the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 multifunctionals offering the versatility of an all in one system with the flexibility of A3 output.

No other multifunctionals in this class offer the same level of performance as the new MFX-2200 and MFX-2700.

Both multifunctionals have copy, print, scan and fax capability as standard. Print and copy speeds are 22 pages per minute for the MFX-2200 and 27ppm for the MFX-2700. For maximum output productivity the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 feature Muratecs QuadAccess technology, allowing simultaneous copy, print, scan and fax jobs.

To ensure users get the full benefits of the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 multifunction operation, the systems feature Voice Guidance for ease of use. Voice Guidance provides audible user prompts for multi step operations such as entering speed dials and clearing paper misfeeds. The MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 also have a large display panel allowing touch screen operation of some functions for easy operation and maximum productivity.

For digital copier functionality the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 have a range of features for high productivity output. First copy out speed is just six seconds with a warm up time of 15 seconds. Duplex (double sided) copy and print is standard on both models. An ADF (automatic document feeder) can stack up to 50 originals for fast throughput of copy jobs. Electronic sorting means copied documents are sorted in page order, eliminating the need to sort manually after copying.

 

The 64Mbyte (4,600 pages of text) standard memory can be used to store copy or fax jobs. Copy and print resolution is 600 by 600 dpi using LED print technology for high quality output. Maximum paper capacity is 2,100 sheets from up to four 500 sheet trays plus a 100 sheet multi-bypass tray.

As standard the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 have a USB 2.0 printer port allowing GDI computer printing or black and white scanning. Two network print options are also available, PCL or OfficeBridge.

The MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 can be supplied or upgraded with Muratecs OfficeBridge document management solution for workgroups. OfficeBridge allows the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 to operate as a powerful network solution for sharing documents between a workgroup of up to 50 users. OfficeBridge provides network print, network scan, scan to e-mail, Internet fax, desktop fax and workflow management functionality all in one simple to use application. Alternatively, an optional network interface card upgrade is available supporting high speed A3 PCL6/5e printing.

For fax operation the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 have a 33.6k bps modem for a fast 2 second per page transmission speed for documents up to A3 size. ITU-T Super Group 3 standard is supported with JBIG compression.

In line with Muratecs low operating cost policy the MFX-2200 and MFX-2700 offer highly competitive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) over the operational life of the machines.
